I picked up two pair of the rod holders from Steve.
Those things are totaly bad @$$. If you get a fish that can Wrack these Monsters... BOW DOWN TO THE GREAT CATFISH GODS AND ASK FOR HELP CAUSE YOU ARE GOING FOR A RIDE.
The only complaint is, now I gotta buy a bigger boat so there is room for me, and my Monsters.

I can't say enough about these new rod holders that Steve just put out. The video does it very little justice on how they really work. The wider gap on the Monsters really make a huge difference. Its great that a guy that actually knows what we all need is producing products like he is, Thanks Steve. I have been waiting for about a years for Steve to come out with the Double action style and as soon as he did I was all over these things. Thanks again Steve for a great product that is built for us catfishermen.

I recently 8-14-09 swapped over to the double action Monster Rod holders, I have used several different holders....but have never been completely satisfied....I have only fished with the holders once 8-15-09 at the cabelas king kat Pickwick/Wilson, but they performed top notch....Steve actually installed these holders for me the night before the tournament, and I really appreciate that. We got the rod holders on and ended up placing 5th in the tournament, which I was pleased with....man was it a tough tournament, we caught 8 cats with our best 5 weighing in at 66.95........just couldn't get that kicker fish in the boat....I'll post some more reports soon.

purchased 6 of steves dual action monster rod holders. used them for the first time last night drifting. caught 14 fish on them. the 2 biggest being 30 and 35. Did not have one problem pulling the rod out of the holders with those fish on the other end tugging away.....what really made me love them even more was i was sitting there fighting a fish and another rod bent to the water and i i pulled it out to make sure the hook was set and then put it back in the holder and then another rod bent and i did the same thing. so i had two fish just tugging away as i took car of another fish. and oh yeah i caught the other two fish as well. and the rods sat in the holders just find while they waited their turns. great product steve! i love the monsters. for now on they will be the only rod holder ever put on any boat of mine

Hey guys I want you to know that I called up Steve Douglas yesterday and ended up ordering six of his double action holders. Im waiting for them and man I cant wait. What got me even more excited is the fact that Steve was preparing to leave for a catfishing tourney down in the south and was kind of in a rush to get out the door but the moment i emailed him telling him i was interested we were on the phone shortly after and he was going into fine detail how is holders worked and what i also liked is how he wouldnt say anything bad about all the other rod holders on the market and just explained how he liked his product. And after i decided to make the purchase he made sure to get them in the mail before he left for the weekend. In my eyes that is a true salesman And i am positive that for now on all of my rod holders will come from this man. I am so excited to get these suckers on the boat and out on the water. And because he was so down to earth and so serious and so full of knowledge about the sport that i can guarantee you that when i need a new arriation system i will be purchasing his akwa lung. So any of you guys looking at rod holders I firmly believe you should give this man a buzz....I havent even gotten his holders yet and im already giving him awesome reviews! and ill be sure to let you know how they are.....and oh yeah did i mention his rod holders are not outragously priced like i had expected? they were very affordable which makes them all the better.....anyways thanks again Steve! i look forward to doing more business with you in the future. and hope to see you in a few weeks. or eventually.....
